Cristina Barrias recognised for breakthroughs in Regenerative Medicine

Cristina Barrias, a member of the MOBILIsE team, received the Crioestaminal & SPCE-TC Award for Research in Regenerative Medicine, which distinguished the paper “Vascular units as advanced living materials for bottom-up engineering of perfusable 3D microvascular networks“, published last year in the Bioactive Materials journal, as the best scientific manuscript in the field of regenerative medicine. The award-winning technology presented in the article has potential applications in the regeneration of tissues and organs, as well as in the creation of human models for studying diseases and testing new therapies. Know more
