On the 30th of September MOBILIsE will participate in an event organised in collaboration with the i3S Careers Development Unit (CDU) and a Postdoc representative, about the Power of Mentoring.
In this event we will discuss the benefits of enrolling in a structured mentoring program and present a Mentoring Program specially designed for i3S postdocs and last year PhD students, MeToDO (MenToring Development Opportunity at i3S). This program aims to provide i3S researchers the opportunity for professional and personal development focusing on researchers’ career goals, in both academic and non-academic environments. MeToDO will help
mentees enhance their skills, knowledge and confidence to set and pursue their goals. It will offer a network of professional contacts and relationships that can support mentees’ career advancement and provide opportunities for collaboration and growth. A pilot program will be launched in October this year.
The round table discussion will count with the participation of researchers who have participated in this kind of initiatives both as mentees and mentors.
