Joint publication of MOBILIsE researchers in “Chemical Society Reviews”

A recent publication in the Chemical Society Reviews journal from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) marks the collaboration between the ERA Chair Holder Helena Azevedo (RSC Fellow), and the MOBILIsE Coordinator Cristina Martins. Following up on an invitation from RSC to contribute to the cross-journal themed collection celebrating RSC Fellows, the article additionally features contributions from Carlos Redondo, (i3S Molecular Biomaterials group, led by Helena Azevedo) and Paula Parreira (i3S BioEngineered Surfaces group, led by Cristina Martins).

In this review, titled “Peptide-based self-assembled monolayers (SAMs): what peptides can do for SAMs and vice versa”, authors intend to provide a comprehensive view of peptide-based SAMs platforms supported by selected examples, while placing the spotlight on peptide-based SAMs and their potential for high-throughput screening and analysis using methods established in many biomedical facilities.
