The year 2025 began with the kick-off of the i3S Mentoring Program (MeToDO), an initiative of the i3S Career Development Unit (CDU) and MOBILIsE.
Following an informative session where Mentors and Mentees (image below) explored the key details, expectations, and the program’s overall structure, the Mentee-Mentor pairs were officially announced.
MeToDO (MenToring Development Opportunity at i3s) aims to support i3S researchers in their professional and personal development, focusing on achieving career goals in both academic and non-academic settings. This pilot edition includes 15 Postdocs and final-year PhD students, paired with 15 experienced mentors from outside the i3S.
This program was launched in September 2024 during the event “The Power of Mentoring”, which discussed the main benefits of participating in structured mentoring programs.
We can’t wait to see Mentee-Mentor pairs grow, collaborate, and experience the transformative power of mentoring!
