The MOBILIsE ERA-Chair holder, Helena Azevedo, shared her insights on the Portuguese national radio channel, Antena 1, discussing the unique possibilities of Supramolecular Biomaterials.
These innovative materials have special characteristics that allow them to respond to specific stimuli, making them highly effective in medical applications. They can be implanted in the human body through non-invasive methods and play a crucial role in wound healing and tissue regeneration.
The radio program “90 segundos de ciência” aims to disseminate the science conducted in Portugal. The program is produced by Antena 1 and the Master’s in Science Communication from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, Portugal, and the Institute of Chemical and Biological Technology of U-Nova de Lisboa (ITQB NOVA).
