MOBILIsE Hub
Objectives
The MOBILIsE Hub is an intersectoral platform which aims to bring together researchers and other regional stakeholders with a common interest in Molecular Bioengineering applied to the Health Sciences. The ERA-CH and their team will be at the core of this ecosystem, that will cross over the borders of the host institution to include other scientific, clinical and business-related partners.
The MOBILIsE Hub will act as a platform for the sharing of equipment, the discussion and establishment of joint projects, the mobility of students to increase training opportunities, as well as a closer connection to the clinic and research and trial opportunities in this environment. The MOBILIsE Hub will therefore gather and potentiate excellent resources in Molecular Bioengineering research, advanced training, and innovation.
Strategic Plan
Representatives of the MOBILIsE Hub will meet yearly to discuss the outcomes and impact achieved by the hub, and plan key activities for the forthcoming year. As the core element of the hub, the ERA Chair Holder will be responsible for interacting with individual entities to explore specific research or training activities.
The MOBILIsE project and the MOBILIsE Hub will contribute to expand and fortify the research field of Molecular Bioengineering at INEB/i3S and at the MOBILIsE Hub. Ultimately, the greatest consequence will be a raise in the research excellence of all the involved entities, and ultimately, of the region and the country itself.
