Registration is open for our Symposium: Skin across development, homeostasis and Disease”, taking place at i3S on 17 and 18 September 2026.
Organised together with the i3S researchers Pedro M Alves (ImmunoHUB ERA -CH) and Rúben Pereira, this symposium will bring together leading researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to discuss the latest advances in skin biology and translational medicine. The scientific program will provide a multidisciplinary perspective spanning skin development, homeostasis, inflammation, pigmentation, regeneration, cancer, tissue engineering, and host–environment interactions, while highlighting emerging technologies and innovative therapeutic approaches.
By fostering interactions between academia, clinical research, and industry, we aim to promote interdisciplinary collaborations and accelerate the translation of fundamental discoveries into novel strategies for preserving skin health and improving the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin diseases.
