As part of the 10th Anniversary celebrations of i3S – Turning Mirrors into Windows, researchers across the institute are sharing their vision for the future of health sciences.
Our ERA Chair Holder, Helena Azevedo, highlighted the exciting work currently underway at the Molecular Biomaterials Group and their future ambitions. The group has been developing biomaterials at the molecular level to externally regulate and guide cell activity. Looking ahead, the team aims to advance these technologies further by designing biomaterials that can function inside cells, opening new possibilities for controlling cellular activity from within.
