Barbara Matos, a Junior researcher in the Molecular Biomaterials Group, led by the MOBILIsE ERA-Chair holder, Helena Azevedo, received the “IRBM Poster Presentation Award for Best Innovative Approaches for the Advancement of Peptide Sciences” at The European Peptide Synthesis Conference of 2025 (EPSC 2025:3) – held from 25th to 27th Aug in Porto, Portugal.
Barbara presented her exciting work on “Molecular design and synthesis of self-assembling peptide nanostructures responsive to prostate-specific antigen (PSA) for triggered drug delivery in prostate cancer”, showcasing groundbreaking strategies to advance targeted peptide therapeutics.
